Sequoia National Park is home to giant trees grow largest on earth. In the park there are at least five giant trees that lived thousands of years, one of the biggest named Giant Sequoia or better known as General Sherman. This tree is believed to have lived about 2700 years, and has a height of more than 83 meters in 2002.
Sequoia National Park is a tourist destination visited by many tourists who vacation in California. Apart from enjoying the natural scenery, they also get to watch the world’s largest rare tree, General Sherman tree.
Sequoia National Park was established in 1890 on an area of 404.051 hectares. This area is a national park located in the southern Sierra Nevada, California, United States.
